I will also host an ONLINE REVIEW on THURSDAY at 7pm. Instructions will be handed out on THURSDAY IN CLASS about how to join the review.

Please be on your best behavior for the substitute tomorrow, you WILL still be getting a daily behavior grade.

Wednesday Homework

Read the article "Space Probes".

On the front, the chart compares different parts of the human body to parts of a spacecraft. You need to complete the chart by filling in the parts of a spacecraft that would be similar to the human body part on the left.

There are 3 "Thinking Questions" on the last page. These should be answered on a separate sheet of paper.

You will get ALL the work you have turned in back tomorrow. There are also quite a few papers in the "No Name" folder... any missing work that you'd like to make-up is due FRIDAY IN CLASS (yes, I am giving you an extra night).

Term 3 ends on Friday.

February Vacation Projects

Hope everyone is already enjoying their break!!

Don't forget to finish you "Solar System Projects"

You need to answer the Who/What/When/Where/Why/How questions that apply to your topic.

You need to have some sort of visual aid... PowerPoint, poster, demo activity, 3-D model... if you aren't sure about your idea, email me first to get approval.

You (and your partner) will be responsible for teaching a 5-minute "mini-lesson" to your class about your topic. It can be longer, but it needs to be AT LEAST 5 minutes.

You can create worksheets, quizzes, any sort of activity if you want for your classmates to do during your lesson.

IF YOU ARE HAVING TROUBLE WITH THE TOPIC YOU CHOSE, EMAIL ME WITH YOUR NEW TOPIC IDEA

I will be available via email for the whole vacation, so if you have questions... please ask :)

Have a wonderful vacation!!

REMINDER: Jupiter grades will be updated by MONDAY, look for missing work, bring it in, and/or come see my about worksheets/activities that can be made up. TERM 3 ENDS THE FRIDAY AFTER WE COME BACK.

Today you selected a topic for your February Break Project. You also started doing some research...

Tomorrow I will hand out the rubric that I will be using to grade the projects and presentations.

This is NOT a big project... You just need to be able to teach a 5 minute mini-lesson on your topic when you come back from break.

You need a VISUAL AID OF SOME KIND... you CAN make worksheets, notes, activities... whatever you think will help your classmates understand your topic.

These are DUE ON MONDAY, FEBRUARY 28... NO LATE PROJECTS WILL BE ACCEPTED
